Howard E. Scott<\/strong>, a guitarist and founding member of the musical groups WAR and Lowrider Band, is a composer of “Cisco Kid,” “Low Rider,” “All Day Music,” “<\/em>The World Is a Ghetto,” and a plethora of recognizable mega-hits from the inexhaustible reservoir of the greatest songs ever scripted. His original band sold tens of millions of records, albums, discs and downloads. He is also the co-creator of The Adventures of the Knuck Knucks<\/strong>, a television animation sci-fi — coming soon.<\/p>\n

F<\/strong>rom Deep Ellum to Beal Street and from the streets of Compton to all-night clubs in South Bronx, Howard E. Scott\u2019s<\/strong> distinctive voice can be heard on stage and on a plethora of FM, AM, and Internet radio stations. His latest single with the world-famous Lowrider Band is “9 To 5 (Ordinary Man),”<\/b> a WAR-like vibe with strings-to-go and the word hit<\/em> written all over it. Not only is he the erudite Fishbowl on-air radio personality, a premier guitarist, and a gracious host: he is a Grammy-nominated composer with limitless experience on the eclectic international music scene, including numerous appearances on American Bandstand, Soul Train, and a trail of other popular network entertainment television shows. For five decades and counting, he and his co-writers have provided music aficionados with some of the greatest tunes ever recorded: \u201cSlippin\u2019 Into Darkness,\u201d \u201cWhy Can\u2019t We Be Friends,\u201d \u201cCisco Kid,\u201d \u201cThe World Is A Ghetto,\u201d and \u201cLow Rider<\/strong>,\u201d to mention a few. Although written decades ago, in 2025, these songs are still heard on TV commercials, classic pop, R&B, and funk radio, and soundtracks of feature films. Many of these mega-hits have been covered or sampled by the likes of Janet Jackson, Korn, TLC, NWA, and countless other top recording acts. Also, as guitarist with the world-famous Lowrider Band, still performs to an international audience. Interestingly enough, he is bringing his own brand of hosting and fun to Fishbowl Radio. His show features interesting discussions with a variety of musicians, actors, authors, and other public figures — some of whom you know or will yet come to know. And, of course, he continues to share great hits from his glory days with WAR to the Lowrider Band, songs from his musical cache for radio listeners to cherish for a lifetime!<\/p>\n

The Adventures of the Knuck Knucks<\/strong><\/em> is one of Howard Scott’s latest projects. It is an imaginary adventure set in the age of AI but unlike any other fiction story in recent times. It was created by Howard and Jennifer Scott and features a host of characters struggling for galactic control in the opaque corners of our spiraling galaxy. Within itself, that is nothing new; but its urban, cosmopolitan, and generation Z edge makes all the difference in the world! This near holistic saga is primed for animation and targeted as a feature film, a digital streaming services, and a network television. The Adventures of the Knuck Knucks <\/strong><\/em>is on its way — sooner than you<\/em> think!<\/p>\n
